WHAT IS A PECK AND A BUSHEL? HOW MUCH DO THEY WEIGH? HOW MANY APPLES WILL I GET IN MY ORDER? Peck and Bushel are measurements of VOLUME, not weight, but we can estimate weight.

- A Peck is approximately 10-12 lbs.

- A Half Bushel is two pecks and is approximately 20-24lbs.

- A Bushel will weigh between 40 & 50lbs.

It is impossible to predict numbers of apples accurately because apple size will cause this to vary greatly however, the last few seasons, a peck has been about 22 apples. WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? We accept cash, check and Venmo payment. Payment is due when you receive your apples, NOT when you place your pre-order. HOW LONG WILL FRESH HONEYCRISP APPLES LAST? At room temperature: 1-2 weeks

In a cool dark place like a cellar: 1-2 months

In the fridge: 3-4 months for snacking and 6 months + for use in baking. DO I PAY WHEN I PLACE MY ORDER? No. Payment is due at the time of pick-up. We accept cash, check and Venmo. WHAT IF SOMETHING COMES UP AND I CANNOT GET MY ORDER? If you no longer want apples or cannot get them after ordering please notify us so that we can cancel your order and sell them to someone else. WHY SHOULD I PLACE A PRE-ORDER? While we always bring extra apples for walk up purchases, the only way to guarantee that you will get the apples you want is to pre-order/ reserve them. We have had to turn away people the last two years because we sold out of our surplus. Please don't let this happen to you. It makes us sad to send people home home without apples.
